Discovering Healthcare Careers
Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children's Hospital of Chicago
DHC is a 6-week educational shadowing internship for Hispanic/Latinx or Black/African American students who are interested in pursuing a career in healthcare & more. Students are provided with workforce development workshops including resume writing, team building, professional development, and basic clinical skills. As a DHC student, you will have the opportunity to shadow medical professionals in the morning and spend your afternoon participating in workforce development sessions and learning about a variety of healthcare professionals through lecture series.
