This inventory contains information about pathway programs that support exploration and preparation for careers in all types of health professions. The programs are geared to education levels from elementary school to those currently in a graduate or professional degree program. Each program listing in this inventory contains details about who the program is for, program location and timing, how to apply, if financial support is available, and more. Most listings also provide a link to visit the program’s website where you can learn more and find additional contact information.

How to Search the Inventory

In the RAPID-IL Program Inventory, the righthand side contains filters to customize your health career pathway program search. Programs may be searched by:

• Education level
• Health professions
• Components (e.g., academic support, mentoring, health career exploration)
• Location by County
• Financial assistance (e.g., stipend)

A search box is also available where you can type in key words or a program name. Any programs meeting your search criteria will appear on the page starting in alphabetical order with the name of the program.

How to Submit a New Program

We are always on the lookout for new programs to add to the inventory. Drop us an email or click Submit a program from the top menu bar.

If you work with or know of a health career pathway program in Illinois, please consider submitting it to the inventory. From the top menu bar, click on Submit a program to add a new program’s details for consideration of inclusion in the inventory. A member of the RAPID-IL team will review the program information to see if it meets the inventory’s inclusion criteria. If it does, it will be added. If it does not, you will be notified via email.
